Committed To Our Community
Education shouldn't be a big business - as a small tutoring company we possess a local touch that big, national tutoring companies lack. We're familiar with the curricula of local school districts and universities, we're often able to accommodate last minute requests, and we can be more flexible with scheduling. More importantly, we depend upon referrals and maintaining an excellent reputation, so you can be sure that you'll get the highest possible quality service and attention with us.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT PRICE CAN I EXPECT TO PAY?
We don't believe in a one size fits all approach to tutoring. Different students have different needs and budgets. Typically, our rates are between $60 and $100 per hour, depending on the tutor and subject. We will do our best to accommodate your budget, so please feel free to contact us regardless.
ARE THERE ANY SUBJECTS YOU DON'T TUTOR?
We are proud to have a group of tutors who can confidently tutor any subject at any level. Whatever your needs are, we believe we can meet them.
WHAT IF I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICE?
While we're highly confident in the quality of our tutoring, we have a money-back guarantee on any lesson you aren't fully satisfied with. For you, tutoring is risk-free. Either you are happy with what we provide, or you pay nothing.
WHERE DOES TUTORING TAKE PLACE?
Either in your own home, or in a public location like a coffee shop or local library - whatever you're more comfortable with. Due to the current Covid 19 crisis, we have restricted our tutoring services to exclusively online for the time being.
HOW DO I PAY?
We typically take payments through venmo, paypal, zelle, or something similar. We also provide a $5 per hour discount when you pay for at least 5 hours of tutoring in advance.
DO YOU DO GROUP LESSONS?
Yes! We simply add 50% to the hourly rate per additional student. Typically we limit group lessons to 3-4 students maximum.
IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Yes, we allow any cancellations as long as we are notified at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If you cancel between 12 and 24 hours prior to the lesson, we charge 50% of the hourly rate. Any cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled lesson time are non-refundable.
